Privacy Policy

The Privileged Play program ("Program") is operated by International Club Network Limited ("ICN") for the benefit of its members ("Members").

ICN is sensitive to issues surrounding consumer privacy and therefore operates the Program in compliance with current privacy legislation, and with generally accepted privacy protection practices as issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). ICN is committed to earning the trust of our members by adapting high standards for the protection of personal information. Your personal information will not be treated in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. This document is intended to provide Members with the information necessary to understand the type of consumer information required in order to operate the Program, as well as how this information will be used.

Access to Disclosure of Information

The personal information provided by Members who apply for a Membership is kept secure and confidential. Personal information about Members is confidential and will not be disclosed or used except as permitted by the Member or as required or permitted by law. Information will not be disclosed about Members to third parties (either organizations or individuals) unless:

* the Member gives ICN explicit and specific prior permission, or

* the disclosure is required or permitted by law or by warrant authorized by a court of competent jurisdiction.

In particular, except as set out below, Member's email address or other personal identifiers will not be provided to participating facilities. However, ICN will provide statistical information about aggregated Member usage that has been purged of all personal identifiers.

Collecting Information

As part of the registration process, ICN will ask for email addresses and other personal information from Members who voluntarily apply for a membership in Privileged Play. ICN will explicitly ask for the information required to operate the Program and process applications and/or Memberships. Personal information, including anonymous user and Member tracking identifiers created during the application process, are stored in a secure environment.

How Information is Used

Information on Member activity at participating golf facilities is accumulated in order to provide Membership benefits and to continually improve the quality of the Program and Program offerings. ICN will also monitor Member program activity in order to assess the effectiveness of the overall program design and to continually improve the quality of the Program and Program offerings. ICN may use Member information in top-level aggregated form to attract facilities that wish to participate in the Program and/or provide special offers to Members. The aggregated reports will not contain personally identifiable information.

Security

ICN takes all appropriate measures to reduce the likelihood of accidental disclosures and unintended access and modification of account information. All employees, contractors and other companies engaged by ICN for work that involves access to personal information are contractually required to keep the information confidential and not to use it in any way other than what is necessary to perform their work for ICN.

Participating Facilities

ICN is not responsible for the privacy practices of participating facilities or the content of their websites. We urge Members to read the privacy statements of these establishments and web sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information received by ICN for the purpose of the Program.

Participating facilities may collect additional information from Members through surveys and forms for their own marketing purposes. When Members provide information while visiting a participating facility's website or establishment, it is the facility that collects the information. Please note that the privacy policies of participating golf facilities may differ from those of ICN.

Some participating facilities may use cookies on their sites, however, ICN has no access to or control over these cookies.

Special Note About Children

The Program is not directed towards children, nor does ICN believe that the program will be of interest to children. However, ICN recognizes the important safety issues regarding children who access the Internet. To remove a child who has enrolled in the Program and permanently remove all personal information regarding this child from the Program database, Members should send an email to info@privplay.com and address it to the attention of the Privacy Officer..

Promotional Communications

When applying for the Privileged Play program, ICN offers Members the option of receiving notification of special offers by participating facilities and other promotional information. Members must indicate their positive consent to receive this valuable service.

From time to time, ICN may request information from Members via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and Members therefore have the choice whether or not to disclose the requested information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name, email address and shipping address), and demographic information (such as postal/zip code, age, gender, etc.). Contact information will be used to notify winners and award prizes. Survey information will be recorded on an individual basis for the purpose of monitoring or improving the quality of the Program and Program offerings.

Correcting/Updating Personal Information

If a Member's personally identifiable information changes (such as an email address), or if a Member no longer desires to receive all or part of ICN's services, ICN will provide a way to correct or update that user's personal data in the company's files. This can be accomplished by sending an email to info@privplay.com and addressing it to the attention of the Privacy Officer.

Fraud

ICN may send details of a Member's membership status to a participating facility and allow participating facilities a means to check online the validity of the Member's membership. If ICN suspects fraud by a Member, ICN may investigate and report any evidence, including personally identifiable information, to law enforcement and to the courts in the course of seeking remedies in law or equity.

Any suspected breaches to the security of the Privileged Play website should be immediately reported to the Privacy Officer by phoning 1-800-903-4268 (Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST) or by email info@privplay.com. 

Individual Access

Members may obtain access to files on their personal information by making a formal request to our Privacy Officer.

Program Cancellation

Members may cancel their participation in the Program at any time by notifying the Privacy Officer by phoning 1-800-903-4268 (Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST) or by email at info@privplay.com. Please see the Terms and Conditions for information on cancellations and refunds.

Retention of Historic Information

ICN will retain information about a Member until such time as the individual resigns from the Program. Upon resignation, the individual's personal identifying information will be retained for a three-year period in order to answer a Member's questions. After three years, personal information will be deleted. Historical aggregated consolidated Program data that may contain information from the resignee will be retained.

Notification of Changes

ICN will post program updates, changes to this privacy policy, and other important information on the Program website and wherever possible, will also deliver such information to the personal email accounts of Members.
