The 2008 Privileged Play PGA Championship Pool

This year's PGA Championship was an exciting one to watch as Ireland's Padraig Harrington defeated Spain's Sergio Garcia to win his second straight major of the year! Padraig also became the first European to win the PGA Championship since Tommy Armour in 1930. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who participated! National Winner: Shayne Young- Score: 34 points (Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, Retief Goosen, Padraig Harrington)   Ontario Winner: Cliff Bittman- Score: 61 points (Aaron Baddeley, Angel Cabrera, Retief Goosen, Camillo Villegas)   Western Winner: Doug Kemp- Score: 65 points (Phil Mickelson, Anthony Kim, Sergio Garcia, Padraig Harrington)   Eastern Winner: Gary Mcgregor- Score: 66 points (Phil Mickelson, Paul Casey, Sergio Garcia, Mike Weir)

How it Works Simply pick four [4] invitees from the 2008 PGA Championship field.  Check out the PGA Championship website to view the full list of the invitees and first round pairings.  The position of your four picks at the end of the final round determines your points for the pool. The lowest point total at the end of four rounds will determine the winner. If one of your selections misses the cut after 36 holes, it adds 60 points to your total.  In the event of a tie, one winner will be selected based on their estimate for the winning 72-hole score. Example: Your first pick - Geoff Ogilvy; he finishes in 6th place = 6 points. Your second pick - Phil Mickelson; he finishes in 2nd place = 2 points. Your third pick - Vijay Singh; he finishes in 10th place = 10 points. And your last pick; Sergio Garcia; he missed the cut = 60 points. 78 points total. Entry deadline is Wednesday, August 6th by 11:59 p.m. EDT. What's at Stake? The lowest overall score from all entrants will be selected as the national winner!  As national winner you will receive your next year's Privileged Play membership for free* and a Callaway Golf Shirt!
