Description:
One of the most stunning heritage properties in Niagara, the Keefer Mansion was built as a principal family residence 122 years ago. The Keefer family became Canada's most important engineering dynasty, planning and directing the building of our railways, bridges, water & sewer works, the Welland Canal and our nation's new Parliament.
Now owned by the City of Thorold, the 9,000 sq ft mansion has been restored over 3 years to reflect the "privileged life" of its prosperous builders. The Inn hosts ten guest suites beautifully appointed with hand carved reproduction antiques and oil paintings. The delectable dining features regional and seasonal ingredients, paired with the culinary skill of Executive Chef, Pascal Badaoui. The Inn is open for lunch and dinner daily, and also offers a “petit spa” to complete the tranquil escape.
Come experience the rich history and charm of The Keefer Mansion, located in the heart of the Niagara Region. Other local attractions include the Welland Canal, heritage sites, hiking trails, wineries, and easy access to the greater Niagara Circle Route.
Privileged Play members can enjoy 20% off any one night stay (no time restrictions). Or, for $219 plus taxes, members can experience a dinner for two, breakfast for two, and a beautiful stay in any room for any night in the summer. |
