The 2008 Privileged Play Masters Pool

2008 Winners!

Thank you to the over 200 entrants in the first annual Masters Pool from Privileged Play Golf!

While Tiger Woods came up short on Sunday, he almost swept the pool by being in just about everyone's top 4, providing several 2 scores.

However, the eventual Masters champ Trevor Immelman never graced one member'
s selections!  That did not stop our members from scoring well, despite some lackluster rounds from perennial favourites.

Check out the winners below and their 2008 picks and continue to follow the PGA Tour before our next pool!

National: Bruce Thompson Score: 26
(Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh)

Western Canada: Dan Olson - Score: 27
(Tiger Woods, Stewart Cink, Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson)

Ontario: Douglas Hirano - Score: 37*
(Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington, Adam Scott)

Eastern Canada: Chris Barry - Score: 44
(Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Mike Weir, Zach Johnson)

Congratulations to our winners and stay tuned for our next Major pool!

*Won on tie-breaker

Couldn't get an invite to the Masters this year?  No problem.  Win golf balls, gloves and a Privileged Play Membership from home!

Privileged Play is proud to introduce our first annual members' only Masters Pool!  Think you know who will be walking away with a Green Jacket come Sunday afternoon?  Test your golf knowledge (or best guesses!) against Privileged Play members across Canada.

How it Works:

Simply pick four [4] invitees from the 2008 Master’s field.  Log on to
The Masters homepage to view the full list of the invitees and first round pairings.

The position of your four picks at the end of the final round determines your points for the pool. The lowest point total after four rounds will determine the winner. If one of your selections misses the cut after 36 holes, it adds 60 points to your total.  In the event of a tie, one winner will be selected based on their estimate for the winning 72-hole score.

Example:

Your first pick - Geoff Ogilvy; he finishes in 6th place = 6 points.

Your second pick
 - Tiger Woods; he finishes in 2nd place = 2 points.

Your third pick - Vijay Singh; he finishes in 10th place = 10 points.

And your last pick; Sergio Garcia; he missed the cut = 60 points.

78 points total.

Entry deadline is Wednesday, April 9 by 11:59 p.m. EDT.

One entry is allowed per person.  Please CLICK HERE, select your foursome and indicate what you believe will be this year’s winning 72-hole score.
