Taboo
The home course of 2003 Masters Champion Mike Weir, Taboo’s 7200 yards are meticulously carved from the majestic Canadian Shield. The result is a beautiful and challenging course that is quickly becoming popular amongst golfers worldwide. Muskoka provided the rugged landscape, charm and mystery; renowned golf course architect Ron Garl provided the artistry and inspiration. Eighteen breathtaking holes, each an intimate, singular golfing experience encased in a rough of mature black and white spruce, jack pine, birch and balsam trees: doglegs around striking granite formations and fairways over challenging and varied terrain.“This is golf, this is Taboo”. The Rock Golf Club

Rated “Best New Course in Canada” by golf digest in 2004, The Rock Golf Club was designed by three-time British Open and Masters champion Nick Faldo. The course reflects its architect’s reputation as one of the game’s most skilled shotmakers. The Rock has been artfully sculpted on the shores of one of Muskoka’s premier lakes, Lake Rosseau. Utilizing the site’s dynamic topography, the 6545-yard course is tightly carved with narrow tree-lined fairways and sloping greens winding through rocky outcroppings, hardwood trees and rolling hills. Diamond-In-The-“Ruff”
The Diamond was founded in 1994 as a semi-private golf club accommodating both members and public players. From its inception, the mandate of the club has been to provide the highest level of conditioning and service. These factors, along with the framing of the facility with soft landscaping, has created an atmosphere that has The Diamond being referred to by some as “The Augusta of the North”.
In 2002, The Diamond was bestowed the honour of being recognized by The Toronto Star as part of “Muskoka’s Group of Seven Most Picturesque Golf Courses”.
There is no doubt that the Diamond has created quite a reputation in the golf world as a thoughtfully crafted golf experience. Learn more about Diamond–In-The-“Ruff”.
Muskoka Highlands
With its long gorse grasses flowing in the ever-present Muskoka breeze, the Highlands offers a serious challenge to the experienced player, and a wonderful layout for the beginner golfer. There is no easy shot – but there appears to be no tough shot. The layout will lull you into thinking that it is a straight-forward course. This is the golfer’s first mistake. The second mistake is not playing the course. The course has all the shot-making challenges of a true Scottish links course –minus the salt in your eyes from the crashing sea.
